Weekends will be rescheduled with regular online check-insWe are very sad that we can't meet in the studio together and will reschedule all the Anatomy Courses from where we left off. In the meantime, we've organised sessions with your cohort to review what we've done so far, hear about your progress and answer any questions. These sessions are not replacing the full weekend sessions. They are designed to keep you refreshed and updated and with practice homework.
Dates- London ANY OTHER GROUPS> I love this shot in the lab on our Fascial focused dissection with the FNPP. Working alongside Dr Vladimir Chereminskiy, who has been a solid guide and willing to be guided in this process, who has a sound knowledge of fascia that really matters, Clinical Anatomist Joel Talsma, who has been pivotal in our journey, at such a key point in the process, with in-depth knowledge and spends every day in labs educating in anatomical detail and Fascial relevance and also (hidden, Gina Tacconi-Moore) who has done such fine fine work as a dissector on this team. Thank you guys for your collaboration We did it !!!
We made some history today. We got the all clear from on our preparation for a bodyworlds style Fascial focused body, by Dr Angelina Whalley today, Dr Von Hagens wife.. unbelievable.. an emotional relief for all in the room at the lab in Guben. It’s been a long, intense and inspiring journey, with multiple levels of learning on all fronts and from both the Plastinarium and our FNPP (Fascial Net Plastination Project)team! After months of travel back and forth to the UK, I get to see my wife, appreciate the clients and students who stood by me. Another 5 days of the wrap up on extra specimens to go. The collaboration has been incredible, the level of communication, debate, exploration, Fascial understanding and questioning, clinical anatomical understanding, relevance and questioning has been enourmous. The sheer amount of talent that I have been honoured to work alongside on project has been some of the finest. Every moment of everyday was so unbelievably creative, and many times I would go ‘back to the drawing board’ to see this in 3D somehow. My co-driver Rachelle L. Clauson has been unwavering, solid, driving and dancing the dance of the waves we had to negotiate, constant communication with her has been the thread of continuity, the dissection on the full body is done!! They gave us all applause.. and Dr Angelina Whalley, Dr Vladimir Chereminskiy, Rurik Von Hagens, & Judith Zinnow (Dr Chereminskiy’s assistant, who had everything in place so beautifully and a great help in times of need and all round great person) had a deep moment there, with us in the lab at the Plastinarium, where they paused, for appreciation and reflection, where acknowledgment of a dissection and it’s creation is complete and starts the next phase of its process, that was amazing to experience. That applause goes to Rachelle L. Clauson Jihan Adem, Tjasa Cerovsek Landes, Gina Tacconi-Moore, Lauri Nemetz, Tracey Mellor, Fauna Moore, Elizabeth Larkam, Bruce Schonfield, Adrian Woolley, Joel Talsma, Johannes Freiberg, Beverly Johnson (who arrives this weekend for our wind down) Alexandro Navarro Valdivia & myself. What an amazing group that has all made this possible. To Dr Vladimir Chereminskiy for guiding so brilliantly, educated where necessary and was open to learning and being led continually, that makes a true egoless leader of masterful qualities, then to Alexandro, what would we have done without him, loyal to a T, had our lab prepped beautifully every single day, was and is attentive to every detail, highly skilled, his detailed dissection skills are excellent and to get to know him, for all of us was a joy.. the world came to Alexandro in Guben. Thank you Robert Schleip for your vision to create the idea and get it rolling. Our scientific advisors helped in the varied communications with them, Jaap Van Der Wal, Carla Stecco, Gil Hedley, John Sharkey, Thomas Myers. Our form ‘F’ led us all the way, slowed us down where necessary, kept us working hard, stopped us when we had to and more. Now some interesting work will now occur in our forms emergence. We also received a great surprise today from Robert for Christmas. To all my students, clients, workshop hosts for putting up with me and my constant time away over the past 6 months, all have supported me without any complaint whatsoever, thank you. And my stunning wife Sharon Carter who has stood by every moment of this roller coaster journey over the past 6 months .. designing and leading large parts of this project . . My late night working and constant daydreaming of the design of the project .. thank you xx Finally from Dr Whalley.. it seems Bodyworlds has a new beauty’ |
