Only by exploring the nature of practice do we really understand how we can create efficient arrangements in our movement practice so we can prevent the accumulation of stress and injury to our bodies.
Gary Carter’s teaching focuses on how you can create a deeper understanding of the yoga practice, cultivating the conditions that give rise to the combined freeing of the spine in conjunction with the pull of gravity and the overall ‘felt sense’ of the breath. By learning to follow the nature of our structure, our internal shapes, we end up going with the body and not against it. We ultimately find fluid movement and lightness with the potential to have free range of movement, restriction free, generating economy of body use…which after all.. is our birthright!
This workshop is for yoga teachers or experienced practitioners with an interest in anatomy for movement.
