The shoulder is the most mobile joint in the body, which in turn means that it has less stability and is prone to injuries, particularly true if there are mis-alignments in poses that weight-bear into the hands and arms. In this one day workshop with Gary Carter we will be looking at the Shoulder Girdle, and using experiential anatomy to explore the balance of free movement and stability in this joint, along with the relationship the shoulder girdle has with other structures of the body.

We will deepen our understanding of this joint in a way that will positively affect our personal practice, and for teachers, empower you to teach from a more informed space.
Who’s it for?

An event not to be missed if you’re a yoga teacher – qualified or in training – from any tradition who want to continue to learn and grow as yoga teachers so they can serve their students wholeheartedly. Also for keen students interested to learn more about how your body works – and how you can make it work better. This workshop earns 6 CPD points
